Female Nude - June 2001... an original oil painting on
linen, of a female nude, in shades of blue, flesh tones,
and red.
I painted the picture during periods at Maryland Hall,
Annapolis, Maryland. The original painting is
available for sale, $1,700.00.

I do a lot of my work using a computer and a very powerful
open source image program, GIMP. When I have developed
a sketch, then I will often develop a full painting, oil or

style. The colors are mostly flesh, yellow, with red and
green "extras". The painting is a new original painting
based on my own prior sketches and digital prints. The

I like to use glazes to let the light shine through from the
underpainting. Recently I have also been working in more
contemporary styles and direct digital manipulations and

These original charcoal and oil sketches are painted in a
more contemporary style, on unstretched canvas or watercolor
paper. The mood of the sketches is deliberately casual.

Decent to the Underworld.
This is an original digital image, Jean, as Inanna, in
her decent to the underworld, accomplished in a
